John S. Niggl, Jr., 89, of Fortville, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
He was born August 7, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late John S. and Jennie (Carson) Niggl. John was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and Indiana Mortuary School. He had been a deacon at the Brightwood United Methodist Church and a Mason for over 60 years.
John retired in 1995 from Jordan Funeral Home. He is survived by sons: John S. Niggl III of MA and Dennis E. Niggl of CA and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Freeman, brother Oren and sisters: Frances Stoball and Elizabeth Woolridge.
