John Stuart Alexander, 73, of McCordsville, transitioned into heaven, November 25, 2016 with both his daughters by his side. He was born on November 29, 1942 to Lowell and Margaret (Troy) Alexander. John was a 1962 graduate of Vernon Township High School. He was a life-long Hancock County farmer and also held various positions at MSD Lawrence Township Schools retiring in 2009 after over 30 years service.
John was a member of The Promise Church and the Eden Masonic Lodge No. 477. He loved trains and enjoyed restoring antique tractors. He is survived by daughters Julie (Mark) Senefeld and Jennifer (Chip) Ruttan, both of Fishers; grandchildren: C.J. and Alex Ruttan and Evan and Chloe Senefeld; bonus grandchildren Candice Turner and Celeste Ruttan; brother, Tom (Margie) Alexander of McCordsville. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Alexander in March 2015, father Lowell in 1994, mother Margaret in 2009 and sister Patricia Alexander in 1982.
