John Reichenbach Dill, 85, of Anderson, passed away on April 29, 2013 at Community Hospital, Anderson.
He was born on March 1, 1928 in Fortville and resided most of his life in Anderson. He had graduated from Markleville High School and attended Ft. Wayne Bible College.
John retired from Guide lamp Division of General Motors after 45 years of service. He was a member of Anderson First Church of the Nazarene and U.A.W. #663.
John is survived by his son, Mark Darcy Dill of Muncie; daughters, Miriam Dan Hall, Plainfield, Marsha Tim Cox, Frederick, MD, Marlene Dill, Fishers, and Melody Dill, Fishers; grandchildren, John April Dill, Lafayette, Stephen Dana Dill, Marion, Wesley Rachel Hall, Pasadena, CA, Erin Greg Jones, Plainfield, Peter Hall, Indianapolis, and Michael Vautaw, Frederick, MD; great-grandchildren, John Robert Dill, Layfayette, and Nolan Jones, Plainfield; brother, George Carole Dill, Granite Bay, CA; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Emma Reichenbach Dill, wife, Helen Dill, two sisters and a brother.
