John Raymond Wazowicz, 65, of Georgetown, FL and formerly of Chicago and Lemont, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness. John will be remembered for his humor, storytelling, love of hunting, fishing, target shooting, and playing baseball.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Clara (nee Londowski) Wazowicz.
He was the high school sweetheart and beloved husband for 45 years of Debbie (nee Shaughnessy); loving brother to Irene (late Tony) Adolf and the late Joan (Dan) Berngen; brother-in-law to the late Steve Shaughnessy and Colleen (Mike) Hederman; cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
