John graduated from Parker High School in 1972. After graduation he worked at Marsh Bakery and Mrs. Stratton Salads for many years.
John leaves to cherish his memory: a wife, Josephine Tripp; a son, John (Stephanie) Tripp, Jr of Birmingham, AL; two daughters, Sylvia (George) Tripp of Birmingham, AL and Lisa (Troy) King of Decatur; one brother, Sammy Lee Roberson; grandchildren, Jamario Tripp, Micheal Tripp, Jahleesa King, six great grandchildren; a special friend, Evelyn Benson of Atlanta, GA; children he helped to raise, Donna O’Hara of Atlanta, GA, Ashley Melton, Gre’Nesia Burts, Kenya Amerson and Clarence (Tiger) O’Hara and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
