John was employed by Indy Parks at Riverside, The Marion County Juvenile Center and Time Warner Cable. John also served, and was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army.
John professed a belief in Christ.
John dearly loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. He will be greatly missed.
John Brewer departed this earthly life on May 5, 2019, at the age of seventy-three years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Charrel Randolph McCollins (Antonio), Jon Owens (Lisa), Keesh Brewer (Crystal), Joyce Ruffin (Tommie), Debra Rainey (Victor), Janice Hamilton, Tyrone Harris and India Boxley; fourteen grandchildren; sisters, Betty Brewer, Virginia Hudson, Adrian Brewer, Tawanda Rush and Pamela Johnson (Joe); brothers, Anthony Brewer, Elder Ellis Brewer (Jacquelyn), Darrly Brewer (Ann), Joe Brewer (Marilyn) and Leroy Brewer (Amy); his beloved, Ruth Harris; two godsons, Kenyatta Washington and Keith Graves, and a host of other relatives and friends.
