John R. Veloria Sr., age 85, born in Chicago on February 4, 1937, passed away on July 4, 2022. 

John was a retired taxi cab driver, an avid reader, music lover, history buff, and sports fan.  In recent years, in addition to the St. Louis Cardinals and Notre Dame football, he anxiously awaited the UConn Girls basketball season. 

John is survived by his ex-wife Marlene Veloria and preceded in death by his ex-wife Billie JoAnn Wimmer.

Marino, Tori Marino, Max Marino, and Erin McNiff.
