John R. Prince Jr., of Raleigh, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2008. He was born in Mullins, South Carolina on January 20, 1940 to Pearl Ray and John R. Prince Sr. He is predeceased by his first wife, Kay U. Prince.
He is survived by his second loving wife, Brenda N. Prince; two sons: John R. Prince III and his wife Jami of Tega Cay, SC; James Ashley Warwick and his wife Heather of Raleigh, NC; and two daughters: Mary Mac Weems and husband Shawn of Raleigh, NC; Terra Warwick of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Sierra, Fallon, and Jackson Prince; Cooper and Anna Shearin Warwick; and Victoria Weems. He is survived by his second mother Myra S. Prince and two brothers: William B. Prince and wife Donna of North Myrtle Beach, SC; James A. Prince and wife Fran of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was educated in the public schools of North Carolina and graduated from Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC.
