John is also survived by 5 Grandchildren- Michael John and Tessa Samarco, Alisha and J.R. Warfield and Jessica Frye. He was predeceased by one daughter Kimberly Hope Samarco. John proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a Police officer for the Baltimore City Police until retiring in 2004. Services will be private.
