John R. ”Jack” Haygood, 64, Anderson, died October 2, 2002 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson, Indiana after a brief illness. He was born May 4, 1938 in Lapel, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area all of his life.
He retired from Marsh Supermarket after 35 years and then continued to work for a Marsh Supermarket part time. He served in the United States Air Force. He loved football, drag racing, golf and his family very much.
He is survived by his wife ,whom he married September 30, 1961; Mary Mills Haygood. One Son: Bill & wife Rebecca Haygood of Pendleton. One Daughter: Dondeena Haygood & friend Joe Inholt of Anderson. Two Sisters: Nora Howell of Pendleton. Marjorie & husband Winfred Leach of Pendleton. Five Grandchildren: Mathew Bradfield, Katie Bradfield, Kelsea Haygood, Shane Haygood and Courtney Inholt.
Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Many Friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Mable Summers Haygood.
