John Phillips, 51, of Red Bank, passed away on Sunday May 22, 2016 after a brief, hard fought fight against lung cancer. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and attended Lutheran Concordia High School and Spring Arbor University. He was employed at Citi Group in New York.
John is predeceased by his mother, Louise and his father in law, Patrick Mahaney. John is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen and their children; Eleanor, Jack and Luke. He is also survived by his father, Darrold Phillips and his wife Lorrye, his mother in law, Madelyn Mahaney, his brothers and sisters, Dawn and Phil McDonald, Darrold Jr. and Jan Phillips, John and Katie Barry, Dr. Kevin Mahaney, Trish and Peter Crowley, Faith Mahaney, and his nieces and nephews, Tabitha, Megan, Caity, Juli, Steve, Stephen, and Fiona.
