John Arthur Petrovsky, 66, of Boise, ID, died in Eagle, ID, on November 13, 2018.
John was born in Cucamonga, CA, on January 14, 1952, to Geraldine (Espy) and John A. Petrovsky.
John was quick to laugh and a warm, generous, patient and open-hearted person. He was a quick study, a comprehensive and analytical thinker and a gifted writer. His imagination led him to a lifelong fascination with space and the cosmos. He enjoyed design, carpentry and metal sculpture, as well as music and reading.
John was the beloved and the heart of his wife and partner of 20 years, CJ (Carol Jean) Petrovsky. He is survived by his sister Susan (Eric) Nelsen of Herriman, UT. He is mourned by his best friends of nearly 50 years, Steve (Leslie) Wexler of Sherman Oaks, CA, and Gary (Teresa) Fiskum of Upper Falls, MD, and many work colleagues whom he held in great esteem and affection. He had loving and close relationships with CJ’s family, particularly Barbara and Carl George Brandhorst of Fairfax, VA.
