John Paul Trujillo (71), known to his family and friends as JP, passed away peacefully at home September 11, 2022 surrounded by his family. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, John came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
John met the love of his life Janet Madrigal at a young age, their love and friendship continued until his last day. They had two children Jason and Jeanene who he had exceptional pride in.
John was a cement finisher for more than half his life. He was so proud of the work he did to help grow the city he loved. He always loved to show his family the work he did over the years. He had a passion for muscle cars, enjoyed fishing and loved animals especially all his grandpups.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ida Herrera, father Nash Trujillo, brothers Gilbert, Robert and sister Kathy.
He is survived by his children Jeanene, Jason (Yvette), grandchildren Jason Jr., Donna Salazar, DeeDee (Moises Lopez) Salazar, great grandchildren Teddy Lovato, Tierza & Trinity Lopez, siblings Doris Trujillo, Tina Trujillo, Adolph (Penny) Trujillo.
