John Paul “Chief” Vasquez was born September 11, 1959, and went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2013. John was united in marriage on May 10, 2003 to Shirley “Jeanne” Trogden of Florence, CO. John worked as a crane operator in which he traveled throughout the United States making numerous friends everywhere he went. John loved the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched. Mr. Vasquez is survived by his wife, Shirley “Jeanne”; brothers, Suzano Vasquez, Ricky (Jennifer) Vasquez, Thomas Vasquez, and Joe Vasquez; and sister, Sue Ann Robertson all of Texas; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Suzano and Jesusa Vasquez; and brother, Eddie Vasquez.
