John P. Limbert 67 of Caldwell left his earthly body to join his heavenly father Sunday, June 19, 2011.  John was 3rd child born of Harold A. and Mary E. (Briscoe) Limbert on Feb 29, 1944 in Hanford, WA.

John married Bonita E. Stumbaugh Jan 8, 1960 in Kansas City, MO, and of this union three children were born, 2 daughters and 1 son.

John served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1968-1970.  He began his long trucking career in Northern Idaho for Potlatch, and being owner, and operator of his own long haul truck.  John enjoyed the outdoors of Idaho and going on scenic Sunday drives; camping, fishing, hunting and he enjoyed a lively game of cribbage.

John is survived by his wife Bonita (Caldwell) Daughters Georgia (Harold) Jenkins, Parma, Laura (Kirby) Snow, Caldwell, and son Johnny (Shannon) Limbert of Nez Perce.  7 Grandchildren.  Daniel (Tami) Jenkins, Nancy (Chris) Hittle, Myron (Dawn) Jenkins IV, Parma.  Michael Limbert, Boise, Dustin, Nathan, Jeremy Snow, Caldwell.  6 Great-Grandchildren Terin and Audree Jenkins, Kobe and Cheyanne English, and Miche’le and Myron Jenkins V.  Sister Kali Mae Limbert of Spokane, WA, 3 Nephews James, John, Dean (Marci) Limbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Gordon A and Harold Dean Limbert. 2 Grandchildren, Johnathon and Tiffany Snow.

We would like to thank Assisting Angels, Horizon Home Health and Hospice and Canyon West for helping mom with the total home care of dad, and friends and family for spiritual support.

What wonder await us in yonder fair land,

The face of our savior,

The touch of his hand,

No more tears, no more discomfort, no more pain or despair,

For Jesus is waits to welcome you there.
