John P. Driscoll Jr, 94, husband of 56 years to the late Helen (Doyle) Driscoll, died on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. He was born in Norwich, CT, to the late John and Rose (Ritchie) Driscoll. John served his country in the US Marine Corp joining in 1942, serving primarily in the Philippines in WWII as an armorer loading bombs onto planes. He was honorably discharged in 1946. After he returned home, he resumed his education at Providence College in Providence, RI graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1948.
