John (Jeep) P. Bollman, Jr., age 73, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital surrounded by family.

John was born on July 3, 1948 to John and Arlene (Miller) Bollman, Sr.  He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in the class of 1966.  John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1967-1973 during Vietnam, where he was a three-time Purple Heart recipient. During his working career, he was a millwright at the Biron Division of Consolidated Papers, Inc.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting in Wisconsin and pheasant hunting in South Dakota, fishing in Wisconsin and Canada, and was a golfer in multiple local leagues. 

John enjoyed world exploration – but hated traveling to get there.  He loved to cook and try new recipes, enjoyed gardening and valued time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his son: JP Bollman; daughter: Brandi Engen; grandchildren: Lauren Engen, and Madison Engen; brother: Steve (Lisa) Bollman; sister: Candace Mead; and his dogs: Pepper and Ruby. John was preceded in death by his parents; and sister: Melissa Bollman.
