John C. Nares, 73 of Oxnard, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011.
He was born January 28, 1938 in Ventura and had been a life long county resident.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a truck driver for 38 years in the citrus industry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Amelia A. Nares; his children, John A. Nares, Elidia G. Jackson, Leticia B. Corona, Manuel C. Nares and Belinda A. Sanchez; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother Manuel Z. Nares; and sisters, Helen Rosales and Angelina Flores.
