Okeechobee – John Moses Andres died on January 18, 2021. He was born July 25, 1933, in Earl Park, Indiana to George and Isabelle (Deno) Andres. A resident of Okeechobee since 2007, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing cards. He was a member of the Junior Achievement and Horseshoe Pitching Club in Lafayette, Indiana.
Mr. Andres was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Hoaks; son, Daniel Andres; and stepson, Thomas S. Leonard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Janice Andres; son, Dennis Andres; stepson, David Leonard; daughters, Joanne Reynolds (CJ), Jacquelyn Douglas (Cooper), Lynda Freeland (Ron), Denise Lade (Roy), Michelle Massey, and Cheryl Silva; stepdaughter, Catherine Faulkner (Scott); a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Desutter (Larry); furbees, Zoey and Remington; and many nieces and nephews.
