John Mitchell Ridley, 62, of Streator, formerly of LaMoille, passed away, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.
Mr. Ridley was born October 26, 1953 in Spring Valley to James W. and Elsie J. (Driskell) Ridley. In 2014, John retired as a boilermaker after 40 years of service. He was a member of Boilermakers Local 60 in Morton.
Survivors include his two sons, David W. (Christine) Ridley of Peru and Jeremy D. (Janessa) Ridley of Beaver Dam, WI; five grandchildren, Liah, Bella, Jace, Josi and Levi Ridley; three sisters, Jessie M. (Ron) Ross of Dover, Judy M. Trahan of Gray, LA and Jeannie M. (Ralph) Echelbarger of Mendota and one brother, Jody M. Ridley of Portage, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James M. Ridley.
