John Micheal Barnes, age 79, of Hillsboro, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born August 2, 1942, in Tallassee, Alabama, he was the son of the late Mac Lee Barnes and Mary Barnes Boozer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mac Barnes, Jr.
John is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Vivian S.
He was a graduate of Dadeville High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.
