John Michael Daly, 51, of Toms River, NJ, surrounded by family, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Brick, NJ before moving to Toms River 35 years ago.
John worked for Siding Plus and Stop and Shop in Toms River and was a parishioner of St. Luke’s RC Church, Toms River.
He was predeceased by his father, Eugene E Daly, Jr., his sister Brenda Anne Caligaris and his brother James Michael Daly.
John is survived by his mother, Millie Daly of Toms River, his siblings Sharon Smithline of Manchester, Anne Marie Simat of Cape Coral, FL, Eugene Daly III of Toms River, Christina Simmons of Bayville, NJ, Donna Daly of Manasquan, NJ, Joan Daly of Toms River, Patricia Daly of Toms River, Jennifer Rovneyko of Toms River, and Kelly Anne Daly of PA, 30 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.
John will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him, a happy gentle soul with the biggest heart ever a genuine loving Son, Uncle, Brother, and Friend. John, like his father, loved carpentry, building things like shelves and dressers, if Mom needed a new shelf for a statue or the bathroom John was quick to pull out the tools and grab wood to create something beautiful that she loved. John was a Loving Uncle to all of his nieces and nephews but a special Forever Best Friend to Alexis and Taylor whom he and Mom cared for daily. John was the quiet type but when he was with his nieces and nephews, he would be playing games and making them laugh and happy. John was a devoted Son always making sure mom was taken care of and had everything she needed. You are and always will be Loved John, may you be united now with Dad, Brenda, and Jimmy, and may God keep you all in the Palm of His Hand now and always until we meet again.
