John A. McClure, age 49, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Born in Phoenix, AZ, on August 17, 1959, he was the son of John F. McClure and Delyte McClelland McClure. A resident of the Boerne and Kerrville area since 2000, he was a member of the Boerne Assembly of God, as well as a member of the Kerrville Cultural Arts Center. An accomplished Metal Sculptor, he regularly displayed his art at the Boerne Market Days and the Kerrville Market Days. John was the first non – Asian to earn a Black Belt at the World Headquarters for Tae Kwando in Korea. He loved music, especially his guitar. Preceded in death by his father, John F. McClure and brother, Gary McClure, John is survived by Mother, Delyte McClure; Cherished Companion, Paulette; Daughter, Sherise McCombs and her husband, Jeff; Grandchildren, Lilliana, Maryah, and Emiley; Brothers, Terry McClure, Edward McClure and his wife, Elisa, and Mike McClure and his wife, Joan; Sister, Cricket Cohen and her husband, Lee; Sister – in – law, Elaine McClure.
