John Marion Colclough of Penfield, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his residence. Born on October 4, 1936 John was a resident of Penfield all of his life. He was the son of the late William Benjamin Colclough and Marian Lucille Lovinggood Colclough. He graduated from Greensboro High School and attended the University of Georgia. On December 26, 1957 he married the former Rita Ann Duvall. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves. John’s working career began at Standard Oil Company and later he worked for Coca-Cola as the Warehouse Manager retiring after 25 years.
In addition to his wife of sixty-one years, Ann Colclough, he is survived by his sons, William Lehman Colclough of Clarksville, TN and John Benjamin and Jana Loyd Colclough of Athens, GA; his sister, Lucy Hulsey of Winter Park, FL; grandchildren, Jack Colclough, Ben Colclough, Ansley Colclough and Emma Ford; other relatives and many friends.
