HAVERHILL – John M. Hyland, 66, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Lahey Medical Center, Burlington.
John was born on May 10, 1950, son of the late Matthew and Ruth (Taylor) Hyland. He was lifelong resident of Haverhill and a graduate of Haverhill Trade School and Haverhill High School class of 1969. John worked his entire career at Munters Corporation in Amesbury working as a sheet metal fabricator and CAD system operator. John is a Veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam.
He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, as well as jet ski mechanic. John loved trips to California and cherished his summers on Captain’s Pond in Salem, NH. John will be remembered for always being there for a friend with a helping hand, smile, or joke.
John is survived by his long-time partner, Dawn Jordan, and her daughter, Laura Morley, as well as dear friends, Michael and Maureen Cartier, and their children, Molly and Mackenzie.
