John Leonard Fontenot Jr. passed away at home at the age of 44. He is survived by his parents John and Ann Fontenot, friend and former wife Kimberly J. Fontenot, siblings Laura DeJuan Lognion, Lawrence Edward Fontenot, and Stephen Lee Fontenot, and numerous nieces and nephews. John graduated from Westlake High School, McNeese State University, and LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. He practiced law in the city of New Orleans for 15 years.
