Born in Harbin, China on July 25, 1929, John passed away on March 1, 2017 at his home in Alameda. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty and his loving daughter, Cindy. He was preceded in death by his step-father and mother, Alfred and Luba Larsen and his brother, Lewis Larsen.
John was an Inspector at Bethlehem Steel for over 20 years and then worked with the San Francisco School District for 15 years as a Stationary Engineer before retiring in 1992. He enjoyed travelling, especially to Hawaii, skydiving, skin-diving and swimming.
