John Lawrence Weatherhead of Plymouth MA, died peacefully on June 27th at Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center after a long battle with Dementia. Born in Manhattan, New York, on November 15, 1963, son of the late Trevor and Elsie (Elson) Weatherhead. He graduated from Plymouth Carver High School in 1981, and later went on to serve in the US Army. He worked as a cabinet maker for Kochman, Reidt + Haigh in Stoughton MA for 23 years. He was a master craftsman and loved woodworking of all kinds. He was a member of the John Alden Club in Manomet, where he would watch sports; he was an avid fan, especially of the Miami Dolphins. He loved card games, and was a superb chess player. He thoroughly enjoyed all types of live music, most notably the Grateful Dead of which he was a devoted fan. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith Anne (Downs) Weatherhead of Plymouth MA. He is survived by his son Joshua Weatherhead and his Partner Trudy Bryant of Plymouth MA, and his loving daughter Jennifer Weatherhead of Pawtucket, R.I. He also leaves behind his brother Mark Weatherhead and his partner Ron Raz of Ferndale PA, sister Jan Weatherhead of Jacksonville FL, sister Lorraine Baker and her Partner Fred Baker of Bronx NY, and Half-Sister Sally Molina of Vancouver Canada. He was also the cherished uncle of Kim Noble, Dorian Noble, Cara Baker, and great uncle of Cameron Noble.
