Griswold – John L. Moran, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday June 18, 2013 surrounded by his family.
John was born in Sprague, CT on April 15, 1934, a son to the late Viola (Selzer) and John P. Moran. John was married to the late Alice (Perkins) Moran who died in 2006.
John was a veteran serving within the United States Army and worked as a painter at Electric Boat in Groton.
John is survived by his only son John D. Moran and his wife Gail of Griswold, granddaughter Abigail Moran, his brother Arthur Moran Sr., and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he is predeceased by his brother William Moran.
