Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, John L. LaMartina passed away on April 8 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. His passing leaves a heartache for all who knew him.
John was born to Anthony and Beatrice LaMartina on July 5, 1951. He was the first of five children. John met the love of his life, Susan in his neighborhood and it was love at first sight. Together they had two children: Lynn and John.
He was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. When he wasn’t enjoying family time, John loved to hustle pool and ride motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife Susan; his children, Lynn and John; his grandsons, Luke and Cesar; his father, Anthony; and his siblings, Michael, Tony and Steven.
