John L. “Jack” Kovach of Burlington passed away suddenly at Samaritan Inpatient Unit at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, on November 26, 2018, at the age of 75. Jack served his country Honorably during Vietnam serving in the US Navy. He continued to serve in the US Naval Reserve.

Jack formerly worked at Hercules and Custom Processing before beginning his career with the federal government at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Upon his retirement – he was able to spend more time enjoying and betting on the horses (aka “feeding the horses”) at Parx Racing with his good friend Ron Paxson. Jack will be remembered for being a Caretaker to his wife, children and his siblings and extended family.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Lorraine (Nee: Moore), his parents Joseph and Doris (Nee: Frake) and a sister Brenda Meisner Duncan. He is survived by his children: John J. Kovach, Tara L. Adams; Pepop to his grandchildren: Alexis, Trent Kovach, Cordelia, Connor Adams; sisters: Loretta (Bob) Page, Debbie (David) Kane and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
