Died Tuesday afternoon June 16, 2020. John was born August 15, 1953 in Aberdeen, Mississippi a son of Nancy C Ford. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Georgia Pacific for over 27 years before the company left the area, he also worked at Arvco Cont for 9 years.
John was a member of Westwood United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jeff and Anabelle Ford, his mother, Nancy Stacy; 3 brothers, Anthony, Steve, and David ; and 2 sisters, Angela and Nancy. On April 15, 1972, he was united in marriage to Diane E. (Jupp) Ford who survives.
Also surviving, 2 children, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Ford of Greensburg, PA and Jessica (Phillip) Ford-Latterner of Paw Paw, MI; 8 grandchildren;Joshua, Jordan, Thomas, Ashley, Tyler, Celeste, Jamie and EJ and 1 great-grandson Atlas; a sister, Diana (Robert) Ford-Griffin of Kalamazoo, sister in law Donna (Julian) Blair of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins and many others who called him family.
