Johnny passed on to glory on October 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at their home in Littleton, Colorado. John was born in Waco, Texas to John Quincey & Willie Irene Chadwick on March 28, 1921.

Johnny loved our Lord and was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ all his adult life. During WWII, he piloted his B-17, The Diplomat, safely through 35 combat missions, including two on D-Day. John had a diverse career as a chemical engineer retiring as a Process Consultant at Stanford Research Institute in 1979. And was an avid stock market analyst and investor. Most of all, Johnny always had a kind heart and adventurous spirit, heading out on family trips with a flare. He enjoyed travel and did lots of camping and other outdoor activities with family and in retirement. Johnny was a beloved and respected patriarch to a family that misses him deeply.

He is survived by his wife, Flo, and his and her children; Ronald (Roberta), James (Carole), Richard (Jan), Andrew (Susannah), Del (Kevin), Glenn, Mark, and Kimberly (Gordon). He is blessed with 28 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva and their daughter Kathleen, and the son they picked, Robert.
