John Lyndon Addyman passed away April 10th, 2014. He was born in Keighley, Yorkshire England on September 8th, 1928 to Wilfred and Edna (nee Moore) Addyman. He worked on a farm as a young man and later as a machinist. On April 3rd, 1956, he married Winifred Helen Butler at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Keighley.
On January 2nd, 1959, they welcomed the birth of their only child Caroline Elizabeth Fowler (husband John). In 1968, they immigrated to America and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where John continued to work as a machinist at Ransburg and Carmel Engineering. His loving wife Winnie who passed on April 11th, 2000 preceded him in death. She was the love of his life. He was the best dad and grandad and loved his two grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Mahaffa (husband David), and Michael John Fowler so much.
He was very proud of them. His sister Marion in England also preceded him in death. His two dear brothers in England, Lesley Addyman and David Addyman survive him. He was a gentle, kind, loving, family man who always thought of others first. He enjoyed nature, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was the best dad and grandad in the world.
