Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, August 21, 1967, to Charlene and John Henry Key, he grew up with his sister and friend Wanda Kay. John Howard attended Texas A&M University where he met the love of his life, his wife Missy. Together they have four children – John Rowdy, Holden, Jay Cody and Kaylen who were the joy of his life.”You can choose to be happy,” was one of John Howard’s life mottos and he brought this spirit to everything he did and everyone he was with. He loved to dance, he loved to fly, he loved to watch and play sports, he loved to tell stories and he always lived life to the fullest. We will miss your smile, your plans and your calls to check in on us, John Howard was a Naval aviator for 17 years and worked as a Federal Air Marshal for the last 5 years. He protected and helped people all over the world, from the Persian Gulf to Indonesia, Louisiana and here in Boerne.
