Colonel John Paul Kershaw, Sc.D. (ret) lost a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on Saturday, June 29, 2015. His children were at his bedside when he passed and comforted him as much as possible. John Kershaw was from Upstate New York and attended High School and college in Syracuse, NY the same place he met his beautiful bride Etta.
John attended Syracuse University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Afterwards John Kershaw was commissioned into the United States Air Force and attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). John Kershaw was awarded a Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) in Material Science from MIT and went on to perform critical research for the US Air Force.
John Kershaw dedicated 27 years to the US Air Force and eventually retired at the rank of Colonel. John Kershaw then went on to work for various government contractors and eventually retired.
John and Etta were both world travelers and have travelled around the world on several occasions. John and Etta witnessed the wonders of the world in person.
