John Kenneth Hawk, Sr., age 86, of Newnan passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was born May 18, 1931 in Heard County, GA to the late John Minor Hawk and Eugenia Hardigree Hawk.
Kenneth as he is known by friends and family is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Eva Jones, Imogene Stephens and Sybil Hawk. He is survived by his loving wife, Johnnie Newby Hawk; children, Kathy Grubbs and her husband John, John Kenneth Hawk, Jr., Julie Averline Hawk, Kevin Michael Hawk and his wife Melinda; grandchildren, John Grubbs, Emily Smith and her husband Brad, Jennifer Grubbs, James Hawk, Makayla Hawk and great grandchild Charlotte Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a long list of extended family who will dearly miss him.
