John K. Peaslee, Sr.
John K. Peaslee, Sr., 82, of Kingwood, went to be with Jesus and his beloved wife Janice, November 6, 2015.
He was born August 25, 1933 the son of the late Roy E. Peaslee and Opal Mae Sypolt Peaslee.
John K was a graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown, MD. He was a truck driver, farmer, and custodian for the Preston County Board of Education for 20 years, but most importantly, he was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and loved spending time with his family. John also served in the US Army.
He is survived by three children and spouses, John K. Jr. and Terrie Peaslee of Valley Point, Howard Bolyard and Gary Hoover of Stuarts Draft, VA and Sherrie and Derek Bolinger of Lenox. Five grandchildren, John and Nicole Peaslee, Amanda and Ike McCleary, Craig, Kristen, and Kendra Bolinger; five great grandchildren, Dora Zuchowski, Buddy and James Peaslee, Brody and Jase McCleary; in-laws, Mary Louise Peaslee, Liz Peaslee, Pete Roark, Kathleen Brandonburg, Jean and Earl Stine, Buck and Darlene Brunner, Carolyn Kidd, Bonnie Brunner, Kenny and Susie Brunner, Sharon and Robert Simon, and Bev Brunner.
He was also preceded in death by his wonderful wife, Janice Mae Brunner Peaslee on April 11, 2013; three brothers, Paul, Donald and Loye Peaslee; three sisters, Jean Sisler, Roxie Sowers and Joann Roark.
