John Joseph Spaugh Jr., 66, of Manchester, TN, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Ottawa.
John was born on August 31, 1953 in Decatur, Illinois to John J. and Colleen (Wakefield) Spaugh. He was a graduate of Mount Pulaski High School and worked as a pipefitter. John married Catherine Brien.
He is survived by his father John J. Spaugh Sr. of Missouri, his three children, Jeannifer (Curtis) Moore of Ottawa, John J. Spaugh III of Manchester, TN, and April (Michael) Ashley of Manchester, TN, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Marty Spaugh of Mississippi, Darrin Spaugh of Texas, and two sisters, Cheryl Hughes of Latham, IL, and Brenda Schaefer of New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife, Cathy, and a son David.
