WALLINGFORD – John Joseph Oros, 86, of Sunrise Circle, entered into rest on February 23, 2007 at the MidState Medical Center in Meriden. He was the beloved husband of 55 years of Ruth (Hoff) Oros.
He was born in Wallingford on February 24, 1920, a son of the late Joseph and Susan (Farkas) Oros.
Mr. Oros was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School and served five years in the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of World War II. Before his retirement, he had been employed by American Cyanamid for twenty-five years. He was a lifetime member of both the Major Raoul Lufbery V.F.W. Post # 591 and the Siedlicki American Legion Post #187.
