John Joseph Evanko, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 19, 2022. Born February 9, 1959 in Danbury; the son of the late John Donald and Jean Theresa (Pisco) Evanko.
Johnny was a skilled Carpenter with a gypsy spirit. He loved being on the move and was always just a happy guy. He also loved the Alppalachian trial and the Housatonic River. He enjoyed his scratch tickets and having a good time with family and friends.
He is survived by his close siblings, Peggy J. Weatherford and husband Warren of SC, Dawn Carmichael and husband Jason of FL, Shayne Evanko of New London, Erik Heisler of FL, David Evanko of CA, Jeff Heisler of CA and his brother, Brian Evanko of Danbury who sadly passed away the day after John. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
