John Joseph Doan, 68, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 9:40 PM, Tuesday, December 27th, at Kings Daughters’ Hospital, Madison, IN. John was born in Vermillion County, IN on October 20, 1943, a son of the late Roberta (Asbury) and Glen Doan. His family later moved to Rockville, IN. John graduated in 1961 from Rockville High School where he was a member of FFA and the high school band. He enjoyed gardening and was also a member of the Rockville Jaycees. He formerly worked at Future X plastic factory in Bloomingdale, IN.
