John Joseph Bruno, age 71, of Milford and beloved husband to Catherine Bruno, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2014 at CT Hospice. Born on May 16, 1943 in Milford he was the son of the late Rose and Vincent Bruno. John was a retired Police Sargent in Milford, a sign maker, wood worker, fisherman and carpenter who in 1974 built his own house. He will be remembered for being a loving son, father, husband, brother, best friend and father figure to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Catherine, he is survived by his children and step- children Lisa Bruno, John Joseph Bruno II and his wife Gail, Jerry Angelica and Dana Angelica- Pellegrino and her husband Jason Pellegrino; grandchildren Tonya Feliciano, Sophia and Olivia Bruno; great grandchildren Evan Melendez and Luciano Pellegrino; siblings James Bruno, Anna Bruno Warf, Jay Bruno, Gio Bruno and Vince Bruno. John was predeceased by his brother Ronald Bruno.
