John (Jack) Wilcox was a kind, loving, and sweet man with a fun sense of humor and great chuckle. His Heaven Day was Thursday, September 30th, 2021 in his home town of Littleton, Colorado at the age of 92.

He was married to the love of his life, Jackie, for 69 years. She preceded him in death by only eight months. Now they are dancing together again in Heaven just like they did at the old Trocadero Ballroom at Elitch Gardens.

He is survived by his children Amy Bourque and husband John, his son Paul Wilcox and wife Fae; two grandchildren Christy Biehl and her husband Dan, Amanda Wimmer and her husband David; his two-month-old great-granddaughter Brynn Biehl whom he simply adored; and his sister Annette Waite Aumann of Lakewood Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his father Roy Wilcox and mother Hilda Wilcox as well as his sister Jean Inmon of Temple Texas.

Jack was born in Denver, Colorado on May 19th, 1929 and graduated from East High School and Denver University. After a short stint in the Air Force in South Dakota during the Korean War, he came back to Colorado to start a long and loved career as a PGA Head Golf Pro and Director. He was instrumental in designing and building Chatfield Golf Course and after that Raccoon Creek Golf Course in Littleton. He loved to ski and was a ski instructor at Berthoud Pass Ski Area for fun. This worked out great for his daughter as she learned how to ski from her dad. Jack also received his private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying all over Colorado in the 60’s and early 70’s. He loved cars (he built his own Jaguar out of a kit using a Volkswagen Beetle engine), trains, traveling, reading, and above all his family and faith in Jesus.
