John “Jack” J. Fitzsimmons III, 71 of Bayville, NJ died on Saturday April 13, 2019 at his home. Jack was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Maplewood/South Orange, NJ and Toms River, NJ before moving to Bayville, NJ over 30 years ago. He was a graduate of Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ and retired from FCI in Freehold, NJ as a Logistics Director.
Jack took great joy in his family and loved deep-sea fishing and reading. Jack is predeceased by his parents John J. Fitzsimmons, Jr. and Helen Fitzsimmons and his sister Mary Stolpe. Surviving is his beloved wife of 45 years Carman Fitzsimmons of Bayville; his children Jessica Johnson of Toms River, NJ and Jaclyn Fitzsimmons and her long time partner Quwan Dorsey of Beachwood, NJ; his sister Helen Fitzsimmons of Beachwood, NJ and his grandchildren Jacob, E’mani, Gabby, JR and Zarah.
