John (Jack) Humphrey Keyes was born in Keene, NH, December 08, 1921. John was born to his Mother, Eleanore (Northrop) Keyes of Newton, CT and Father, John H. Keyes of Keene, NH.
During his childhood Jack moved with his parents to Kansas City, Atlanta, And then to Tulsa.
In Tulsa Jack’s education consisted of primary school through high school. Jack furthered his education with degrees from the Engineering School at Texas University at Austin, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, and the Senior Executive program at the Stanford University School of Business.

Jack married his wife Louella (Lou) Bruce, of Earlville, Illinois, September 07, 1947. Jack and Lou had a son, John Bruce Keyes, an engineering graduate of the University of Wyoming, who preceded Jack in death.
Jack was employed by the pipeline subsidiary companies of Standard Oil of Indiana and Amoco Oil for forty two years in the engineering, operations, construction, management, and executive positions for the pipeline operations. This family established permanent and temporary residence in Oklahoma, Wyoming, Texas, North Dakota, and Utah.
Lou and Jack have enjoyed a very fruitful and meaningful retirement over the past thirty five or so years in Denver, its metropolitan area, Colorado and the Rocky Mountains.
