John J. “Jack” Callahan, 86, of Marshfield, passed away at home on December 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Leary) Callahan. He was the cherished father of Kenny Callahan of New York, Claire Gaffney of Ohio, John Callahan, Jr. of Maine, James Callahan of New Jersey, Joan Winslow of Carver, Terence Callahan of Marshfield, William Callahan of Kingston, and Timothy Callahan of Duxbury. He was the brother of Patricia Anderson of Pembroke and the late James Callahan, Mary Varrasso, Frances Cavallaro, Dorothy Griffin, Elizabeth Bailey, Sheila Bertuchio, and Winifred Callahan. He leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was born in Quincy to James and Mary (Davidson) Callahan. He was a Korean War veteran with the United States Army. He worked in the ship yard at General Dynamics.
