John J. Kochis, a life-long resident of Fairfield, passed on February 15, 2019 with his loving wife Helen by his side. Jack and Helen had a wonderful 56 years of marriage, the love they shared was immense. Jack was loved and respected by many in the community. He gave so much of himself to others his entire life. Jack volunteered for many years coaching little league baseball and Pop Warner football while raising a family and at times working more than one job to support his beautiful family. Jack was a proud Marine and survivor of the ill-fated Paris Island Death March – Semper Fi.
