John Ira Broadwater, of Indian Head, Maryland passed away October 7, 2015 at the age of 69. He was born September 23, 1946 in Washington, DC to the late Harry Broadwater and Virginia Winters.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Lorna Bond and brother, Rodney Broadwater.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandra Henderson; his son, John, Jr. and his family; two step-sons, John and David Krex and their families, with a total of six grandchildren.
Other than his family, John was most proud of the 27 years of not drinking.
