John died Tuesday morning, September 22, 2020, at Bethesda Ranch Memory Care Facility.
He was born March 7, 1934, in Portage, MI a son of John and Jenny (Nuismer) Drenth and had been a lifelong area resident.
John was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings; a daughter, Suzanne Detienne; and a son-in-law, Michael Denaway. On June 21, 1955, John married the former Alta Hewson who survives.
Also, surviving are his children, Faye Drenth-Thurman and her husband, Jerry Thurman, Gayle Denaway, and John C. Drenth; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
